The GL.iNet GL-MT5000 is a wired VPN gateway designed for homes, small offices, and individuals. It combines VPN performance of up to 1,100 Mbps via WireGuard® and up to 1,000 Mbps via OpenVPN-DCO with three 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports.

It features three Ethernet ports supporting speeds of 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps, enabling high-speed wired connectivity. The ports can be configured as WAN or LAN according to network needs.

The OpenWrt 21.02 system offers customization flexibility, with the ability to install packages and run additional services. The GL-MT5000 can operate as a VPN gateway, ad blocker, or lightweight NAS.
