Sharpen 33 EC is a selective, pre-emergence and early post-emergence herbicide used to control broadleaf and grassy weeds during their germination. It works by inhibiting mitosis (cell division) in weeds. It is also used in tobacco cultivation as an anti-defoliant.

Method and Dosage of Application:
- Dosage: Usually applied at 200–500 cc per stremma (depending on the crop and soil type)

- Application timing: Pre-sowing with incorporation, pre-emergence surface application or early post-emergence

Important Precautions: Weed stage: Controls weeds at germination or very young stages. If weeds have already grown, they must first be destroyed mechanically or with another post-emergence herbicide.
Restrictions: Do not use in greenhouses or closed structures.
Variety prohibitions: MUST NOT be applied on the sunflower variety HEROIC and the wheat variety PALEDOR.
