The Anycubic SP Kobra S1 / S1 Combo Heated Bed Assembly (Hotbed) is the main thermal build surface, specifically designed for the enclosed CoreXY architecture of the Kobra S1 series. It consists of:
- Aluminum alloy baseplate for heat distribution.
- High-power AC/DC heating element.
- Pre-applied flexible magnetic base.
- Integrated thermometer cable.
- Lower thermal insulation for uniform temperatures during high-speed printing.
High efficiency uniform thermal heating: Designed with a dense trace layout on the aluminum plate for fast heating up to 110 °C without cold spots, preventing warping of the first layer on engineering polymers (ABS/ASA/PET-CF).
Pre-applied high-temperature magnetic sheet: Factory layered with a flexible magnetic base capable of withstanding continuous high temperatures, ensuring that spring steel build plates do not shift during rapid Z/Y movement.
Integrated lower thermal protection: Features lower thermal insulation that redirects heat towards the build surface, protecting the underlying electronics from heat exposure.
Reinforced strain relief cable: Includes a sturdy rear cable holder to avoid stress from bending the copper conductors and heating along the power and thermometer cables.
