• Dual Drive Gear: Uses hardened steel for the drive gears with a tooth profile that tightly grips the 1.75 mm filament without slipping, ensuring precise flow volume during high-speed printing.
• Shift Mechanism for Multiple Colors: Contains an internal shift/clutch mechanism designed to work with the ACE multi-material unit. It allows the printer's gears to disengage or engage during filament purging, trimming, and retraction cycles to prevent wear.
• Hardened Steel Gear: Built to endure standard filaments (PLA, PETG) as well as abrasive composite materials (Carbon Fiber, Wood, Glow-in-the-Dark) without excessive gear wear.
• Integrated Tension Adjuster: Features an adjustable screw/spring tension to perfect the gear gripping force for soft materials like TPU or hard engineering plastics such as ABS and ASA.
