The Anycubic Sp Kobra 3 Max Combo heating block assembly heats and melts filament in a 3D printer. The heater reaches 300 °C from room temperature in less than 50 seconds, while the extended melting zone supports high volumetric flow for printing at speeds of up to 600 mm/s and rapid filament purging during multicolour printing.
The bimetallic throat tube, made of titanium alloy and copper, limits heat transfer to the heatsink and promotes heat transfer to the melting chamber. The assembled unit includes the block, throat tube, heater, thermistor and silicone cover for easy replacement.
