The Anycubic Sp Kobra X Series Ace Gen2 cutter unit cuts filament during automatic retraction and material changes via the Anycubic ACE unit. The blade cuts the softened end of the filament before it passes through long PTFE tubes, helping to prevent jams in the print head, selector, and feed channels. It is designed for the Kobra X print head and attaches to the ACE GEN2 housing with mounting screws.
The return spring moves the cutting lever out of the filament path once it is pressed by the printer frame’s activation pin. The unit can be replaced without disassembling the extruder drive mechanism.
