The Anycubic SP Kobra S1 / S1 Combo Resistance Strain Gauge Module is the physical contact leveling sensor and main load base, integrated into the Kobra S1 series printing tool. Instead of relying on non-contact proximity sensors or optical sensors, this module measures the slight mechanical bending caused when the nozzle tip physically touches the print surface. This allows for automatic Z-offset calculation and dynamic bed leveling regardless of the surface material (PEI, glass, woven steel).

• Direct Nozzle Leveling: Detects physical contact force directly through the nozzle tip, completely eliminating manual Z-offset adjustments or errors caused by nozzle changes.
• High-Sensitivity Load Cell: Integrated into a flexible aluminum mounting base, it reacts to vertical pressure changes at the microgram level during bed detection.
• Compatibility with Multiple Surfaces: Works on all textures and coatings of print surfaces (woven PEI, smooth magnetic sheets, Garolite) without calibration adjustments.
• Preassembled Connection Cable: Comes integrated with high-flex wiring and a small JST connector that plugs directly into the tool’s PCB.
