The Anycubic SP buffer component for the ACE Pro connects the four internal spool feed channels to the print head extruder. The four independent spring-loaded sliding guides absorb mechanical stress during rapid color changes and filament retractions.
The built-in optical sensor board with infrared sensors monitors the movement of the guides and sends a signal to the printer to adjust the speed of the feed motors. The manifold connects four PTFE tubes into a single path to the print head, while the integrated push-fit connectors with release collars hold the tubes in place and allow them to be disconnected for maintenance.
