The Anycubic Kobra X Series ACE GEN2 print head driver board is the main control board installed inside the ACE GEN2 print head. It functions as a secondary board for the main controller and manages the print head’s sensors, motor drivers, and heating circuits for synchronized, high-speed printing.
It consolidates signals from the stepper motor, hotend heater, thermistor, fans, and leveling sensors into a single bus cable. It interfaces with the strain gauge auto-leveling sensor, filament movement or jam sensors, and print head positioning circuits. It also coordinates communication between the Anycubic ACE unit, the internal filament cutter, and the extruder motor during multicolor filament changes.
