The FERRO AFV25 antifreeze valve activates when the water temperature drops to approximately 3°C, allowing the fluid to flow out of the system. When the temperature rises above 4°C, it automatically closes. The operation is fully mechanical and requires no electrical power. The built-in filter screen protects the heat pump circuit from debris.
