The ESP32-ESP-WROOM-32 developer kit is an ideal set for learning to program the ESP-WROOM-32 model and testing its capabilities. It includes a communication module/microcontroller, a USB -> UART interface based on the CP2102 chip, switches for toggling the device into programming mode, and a voltage converter that powers the unit directly from the micro USB port. All the ESP-WROOM module pins are available as goldpin connectors, allowing the module to be used with any breadboard without the need for soldering.

The device supports Wi-Fi protocols (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth/Bluetooth LE, as well as custom protocols that can be written by the user. The built-in 4 MB Flash memory also helps utilize the controller's additional features. It should be noted that during programming and use of the module, attention must be paid to logic voltage levels. The module is designed for use with a 3.3 VDC power supply and logic level. Applying 5 VDC to the inputs may cause permanent damage to the module.
