The Technisat Smoke Sensor 1 standalone smoke detector uses photoelectric (optical) detection and is designed for residential areas such as bedrooms, hallways and stairwells. When smoke is detected, it activates an audible alarm of approximately 85 dB and flashes a red LED. The HUSH function temporarily silences the alarm for approximately 9 minutes, while the TEST button allows you to check that the detector is working.

The detector is resistant to dust, insects and moisture. It can be installed on a ceiling or wall using the mounting base and included wall plugs and screws, or with the 3M adhesive strip.
