The TechniSat Smoke Sensor 2 is a standalone smoke detector with photoelectric detection and Wi-Fi. In case of smoke detection, it activates an intermittent audible alarm of approximately 85 dB and a flashing red LED. It sends notifications through the Tuya Smart / Smart Life apps, allowing monitoring of the battery, device status, and event history. The device is resistant to dust, insects, and moisture. It features a TEST button and a HUSH silence function for about 9 minutes.

The built-in 3 V battery has a lifespan of up to 10 years under typical conditions, and installation is done on the ceiling or wall using a base and anchors/screws or with 3M tape.
