Platinet seeds are Tagetes patula marigolds, with plants reaching 20–30 cm in height and flowers measuring 5 cm in diameter. These annual plants prefer sunny spots sheltered from the wind and are resistant to drought and high temperatures. They bloom from June until the first frosts, and their flowers have pest-repellent properties.
They are suitable for flower beds, flowering carpets, planters and borders. Sow under cover from March to April, then transplant in May. The first flowers appear approximately 12 weeks after sowing.
