The Thermoval T17 Pro convector heats the room through natural air convection. Its covered, low-temperature heating element is of the bayonet type and features an X-shaped aluminium heat sink. The steel sheet casing has an anti-corrosion coating and a stove-enamel finish that is resistant to moisture and high temperatures.

The analogue bimetallic thermostat, with a capillary air-temperature sensor, adjusts the temperature from +5 to +35 °C. The device includes a mechanical mains switch and a thermal fuse.
