The fitting for press fittings is compatible with multilayer and homogeneous pipes and features a pressed ring. The KAN‑therm Press system includes pressed fittings, threaded connections with collectors and installation cabinets, as well as multilayer pipes in the following diameters:

• PE‑RT/Al/PE‑RT Multi Universal Ø14‑40 mm
• PE‑X/Al/PE‑X Ø50‑63 mm

The used PPSU (Polysulfone phenylene) offers resistance to corrosion processes and neutrality with drinking water. The fittings have higher durability than the pipes, as well as high mechanical strength. The manufacturing technology of PPSU fittings minimizes the creation of hidden defects.

The Multi Universal pipes of the KAN‑therm Press system have an inner and outer layer of heat-resistant PE‑RT, with a permanently bonded aluminum layer. This construction ensures resistance to oxygen diffusion, flexibility, absence of shape memory, and an eightfold reduction in thermal expansion compared to polyethylene pipes.

The KAN‑therm Press system provides a service life of over 50 years, the ability to operate at high temperatures – Trob = 80 °C (operational), Tmax = 90°C (maximum, with temperature increase protection) – and an operating pressure of up to 10 bar. PPSU fittings feature durable connections, with maximum operating limits depending on the pipe’s strength. There is no corrosion, regardless of water quality. It is possible to cover Press connections on the floors and use the same type of pipe for plumbing and heating installations.
