The Techstar TP02 car diagnostic scanner reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and freeze-frame data. It can also reset warning lights and the oil service indicator. It checks systems including the engine, transmission, ABS, airbags (SRS), TPMS and steering. It displays live data such as engine speed, vehicle speed, temperatures and sensor readings, and includes I/M readiness, O2 sensor and EVAP leak tests.
Its library includes more than 40,000 generic and manufacturer-specific codes, with explanations of their structure. Reports can be transferred to a mobile phone by scanning a QR code for saving, printing or sharing. The scanner connects to the OBD port via cable and is powered directly through it, so no batteries are needed.
