The charger contains a Type 2 connector, which is the official European standard. It has 7 pins, of which 3 or 5 are for charging, and 2 for communication between the charging station and the vehicle. It is compatible with most electric vehicles sold in Europe.

If you want to mount the electric vehicle charger on the wall, choose a suitable location close to the car and to a power source. Installation of a Residual Current Device (RCD) is also required – a Type B RCD is the best choice for full additional protection. Make sure the location is protected from moisture, free from mechanical damage, and not exposed to direct sunlight. This is absolutely essential.
