Electronic ignition system with Hall Effect magnetic sensors, which are not sensitive to RPM changes and are unaffected by dirt and oil. Improves overall performance by adjusting timing by less than three degrees, extends spark plug life, and eliminates the use of points and condensers. It is easy to install and used by many racing champions. Made in the USA.
- Operation with the Dyna S ignition system requires the use of a 5-ohm secondary coil such as part # DC7-1 or the standard coil from early Shovelheads.
- Not recommended for use with OEM coils.
- A 5-ohm coil is required for street applications.
- For '84-'99 mounting models, a weight preload mechanism is required.
- For '86-'03 XL and '80-'99 Big Twin models, a mechanical weight preload block is required.
