The Suunto Smart Heart Rate Belt 2 uses ECG front-end technology to detect and filter out interference, ensuring that the recording accurately reflects your effort during intervals, intensity increases and endurance workouts. The new chest strap design protects the signal from static noise, providing stable readings from the very first minute. In addition, high-resolution R-R data enable ZoneSense to operate in real time when connected to a compatible Suunto watch.

When paired with a compatible Suunto watch, the built-in 6-axis motion sensor records metrics such as step rate, ground contact time, vertical oscillation, flight time, and left/right foot contact balance. If the connection is interrupted, the belt’s internal memory stores up to 20 hours of R-R data, transferring the saved data to the watch as soon as it reconnects.
