The Eura SD-87A2 wireless smoke detector uses a photoelectric sensor to detect smoke indoors. When smoke is detected, it activates an audible alarm of approximately 85 dB and a visual indicator with a flashing LED. The test button allows you to check that it is working properly.

During normal operation, the red LED flashes every 32 seconds. The alarm consists of three tones at 0.5-second intervals, synchronized with the LED flashes. The device also indicates a low battery level and possible faults, and can be installed on various types of ceilings, including triangular or sloped ceilings.
