The Steinel Multisensor KNX motion sensor detects presence and movement using a 7.2 GHz microwave sensor and measures light intensity, temperature, air pressure, humidity, volatile organic compounds (VOC) and CO2. The detection angle is 360°, with a range of up to 15 m for presence and movement and 9 m for actual presence, at a maximum installation height of 4 m. It is designed for recessed installation at a height of 2–12 m, with an optimal height of 2.8 m.

Bluetooth connectivity operates at 2.4–2.48 GHz, and settings can be configured via ETS, the bus or Bluetooth. KNX functions include four lighting outputs for switching on/off, dimming and scenes, with support for master/slave and master/master sensor connections.
