The 400 × 400 mm cast-iron hob is designed for use with a wood-burning stove. It features a removable burner with 4 concentric rings, which can be taken out to adjust the opening for cookware of different sizes. The 17 mm-thick cast-iron construction absorbs and retains heat for longer, helping to ensure even cooking. Its flat surface supports frying pans, pots and heavier cast-iron cookware.
The large burner has a diameter of 280 mm. For installation, a 10 mm expansion gap is recommended between the hob and the countertop; this can be filled with 12 mm heat-resistant rope.
