Okoume Body Construction & Dinky Ergonomics
The body of the instrument follows the Dinky design, with compact dimensions and a solid Okoume wood construction. This wood offers rich acoustic resonance, warm low-mid frequencies and a clear response, while keeping the weight balanced. The body-to-neck joint combines the ergonomically sculpted Shredder's Cut Heel with a deep cutaway in the lower bout (Scalloped Lower Back Bout), allowing the fretting hand unrestricted access up to the 24th fret. The Crimson Eclipse Satin finish protects the wood without reflecting stage lights.
Caramelized Maple Neck & Compound Radius Fingerboard
The neck is made of thermally treated caramelized maple (Caramelized Maple), internally reinforced with graphite rods for maximum structural stability against humidity and temperature changes. It features a slim Speed Neck profile with a hand-applied satin urethane finish. The dark ebony (Ebony) fingerboard features a 12" to 16" Compound Radius and Rolled Edges, providing a curved surface in the lower positions for comfortable chord fingering and a flatter surface higher up for clean bends. It has 24 Jumbo frets and phosphorescent Luminlay Side Dots for easy orientation in low-light conditions.
Seymour Duncan Electronics & Floyd Rose 1000
The signal is captured by a Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 humbucker at the bridge, featuring two rows of hexagonal pole pieces and an Alnico V magnet for a tight bass response and sharp articulation, and a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N at the neck for warm, organic melodic lines. The 5-way switch offers combinations of full humbucking and split-coil configurations. The hardware includes a recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo, which, together with the 42.86 mm-wide locking nut, keeps the guitar in tune even during extreme tremolo-arm use.
