Amsterdam 115 Acrylic Matt varnish is a final varnish for acrylic and oil paints that provides protection and an even matte finish. It does not yellow, dries in a few hours, and helps prevent oil paints from ageing.
For oil paintings, apply only once the paint has dried completely, which takes 6–12 months depending on the thickness of the layer. Adjust the gloss by mixing it with Acrylic Varnish Glossy 114. The varnish can be removed with mild solvents and thinned with white spirit or turpentine.
