Top specs

  • Type

    NVR

Recorder that uses IP cameras and network connection for video recording and management.

  • Number of Channels

The maximum number of cameras that can be connected to and managed by the recorder

  • Resolution

    4K

The highest resolution available on the market (also known as 8 Megapixels). It offers 4 times more detail than Full HD. This is cinematic quality that allows for maximum possible zoom to recognize critical details, even from a great distance.

  • Incoming Bandwidth

This is the actual processing power of the recorder. It determines how much "load" (data) it can handle simultaneously from all cameras. A high number is necessary for many channels at high 4K resolution.

    • Example 1: You have 4 cameras of 5MP (each requiring ~8 Mbps). A total of ~32 Mbps is required. An NVR with 80 Mbps Incoming Bandwidth is more than enough.
    • Example 2: You have 16 cameras of 4K (each requiring ~12 Mbps). A total of ~192 Mbps is required. An NVR with 160 Mbps is not enough and will "lose" cameras or reduce their quality. Here, you need an NVR with at least 256 Mbps.

    128

  • HDD Slots

The number of internal hard drives (SATA) that can be installed simultaneously in the recorder.

  • Maximum Capacity per Disk

The maximum size (in TB - Terabytes) of the hard drive that the device "recognizes" and supports in each slot.

  • Ports

    HDMI

The digital output for video and audio. It is the standard way to connect the recorder to a modern TV or monitor (PC) and view your cameras in high resolution.

    USB

Its main use is to connect a mouse for menu navigation and settings. Additionally, it is used to connect a USB stick (flash drive) in order to export (take a backup of) specific video clips that interest you.

    VGA

An analog video output. Used to connect the recorder to older computer monitors.

    e-Sata

A specialized, high-speed port that allows the connection of an external hard drive. It is mainly used in professional setups to expand the total storage (recording) capacity.

  • Video Compression

    H.265+

Smart version of H.265, designed for 4K/8K surveillance. It offers very low bandwidth in static scenes, combining high image quality with significant storage space savings.

    • The standard supports approximately 50–60 days of continuous recording on a 2TB hard drive

(Values and durations are indicative and based on standard settings. Actual performance may vary depending on resolution, frame rate, scene movement, and hardware.)
