The InLine 76624C card connects to a PCI Express x1 slot and adds one parallel LPT port and two RS-232 serial ports. The IEEE1284 parallel port supports SPP, PS2, EPP, and ECP modes, with a transfer rate of up to 1.5 Mb/s.
The serial ports use 16C450 / 16C550 UARTs and a 256-byte FIFO per port, with speeds of up to 250 Kb/s per port. Hardware and software flow control, 5-, 6-, 7-, or 8-bit serial formats, various parity settings, and 1 or 2 stop bits are supported. Multiple cards can be used in the same computer.
