The 8.5 spark plug wire offers exceptionally low resistance without electronic interference. In a 12-inch length of Super Conductor cable, resistance ranges only from 40 to 50 ohms, which is the lowest resistance of all spiral-core wires. To achieve this performance, a copper alloy conductor is used due to its excellent voltage transfer capabilities. The low resistance helps reduce spark energy loss, so more of it reaches the spark plug.

The conductor is tightly spiraled around a special center core, with more than 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of cable. This spiraling process, combined with a core containing ferromagnetic material, produces highly effective electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression. This suppression capability keeps EMI within the cable, preventing interference with other electronic systems in the vehicle.

The outer jacket surrounding the conductor assembly is equally impressive. A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produces a jacket that is highly resistant to high temperatures, as well as abrasion and tearing. The spark plug wire set is compatible with the Honda Civic B16A2 and the MSD distributor cap or the stock distributor cap.
