The ESS CDI ballistic glasses feature a Terrain Tan frame and two sets of interchangeable lenses: clear and smoke. The Lateral Exchange System allows lens changes in just a few seconds, while the rubber SmartTension temples provide low pressure and a secure fit.

The polycarbonate lenses provide ballistic protection according to Mil Spec MIL-PRF-31013 and ANSI Z87.1-2003+, as well as 100% UVA/UVB protection.
