In developing this classic product, all the features that made the R2v2 so loved were retained – such as the exclusive seamless multi-directional compression, quick-drying fabric, and the K-Protect reinforcement around the knee, specially designed to reduce impact – and combined with even more revolutionary elements. The new Fibular stripes activate proprioception to improve balance and stability, reducing the risk of sprains on the trail. At the same time, the horizontal “waffle” weave zones stimulate microcirculation and lymphatic flow, reducing inflammation and pain in the shins.
For running in low light, a reflective logo has been added to the back for increased visibility. Following a recent scientific study showing that compression socks can reduce stomach issues after intense effort, these “waffle” weave zones have been improved to enhance blood flow throughout the body and reduce intestinal pressure. In short, fewer stops due to abdominal cramps.
