The ultrarapid test for pool water analysis includes 50 test strips for pools, bathtubs, or jacuzzis. To use, dip a strip into the pool water for a very short time (2-3 seconds), remove it, shake off the excess water, and wait up to 15 seconds to read the analyzed values. Measurements are made by placing the strip next to the color reference chart found on the bottle. Match the colors to determine the water analysis.

• Chlorine: measures chlorine levels from 0 to 10 ppm
• pH: measures pH from 6.2 to 8.4
• Alkalinity: measures alkalinity from 0 to 240 ppm

For very accurate results, it is recommended to check both ends of the pool twice a week.

Check the following factors:

• Free chlorine: ideal free chlorine 2.0 - 4.0 ppm
• pH: ideal pH level between 7.4 and 7.6
• Total alkalinity: ideal alkalinity for pools 80 - 120 ppm
