This edition is published with substantial changes to the content of the work, with numerous additions, improvements, and updates, so that it is essentially an entirely different new textbook.
In this fifth edition, changes enacted by laws subsequent to the previous fourth edition have also been taken into account, such as laws 5221/2025 (Government Gazette A΄ 133/28.7.2025), 5264/2025 (Government Gazette A΄ 239/19.12.2025), and 5282/2026 (Government Gazette A΄ 30/27.2.2026), which brought significant amendments to the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure compared to those in force under the previous amendments.
This work deals with leases under the Civil Code, the new commercial leases, meaning those concluded after the entry into force of law 4242/2014 (28.2.2014), and leases of the State and Legal Entities of Public Law.
The work is divided into four parts. The first part includes the lease of things under the Civil Code, the second part the new commercial leases, the third part the leases for housing public services (law 3130/2003) and services of Legal Entities of Public Law, and the fourth part the new procedure for lease disputes.
At the end of the book, the relevant legislative texts are included, as well as – as always – a fully detailed alphabetical index, and an index of provisions of legislative texts.
