The operating principle of the FUR with an anchorage depth of 70 mm and the asymmetric teeth facilitate installation in known and unknown substrates. The slim geometry also makes installation easier, even in wooden constructions with thick members and narrow holes.
Applications:
- Wooden or metal substructures for façades and roofs
- Windows, battens, gates and doors
- Interior cladding and fixtures
Building materials:
- Concrete ≧ C12/15
- Perforated clay bricks
- Perforated sand-lime bricks
- Solid sand-lime blocks
- Solid lightweight concrete blocks
- Solid bricks
- Solid natural stone
- Solid plasterboard
- Lightweight concrete blocks
- Three-layer wall panels
- Lightweight aggregate concrete
Function and dimensions:
- Suitable for through-fastening
- Diameter d0: 10 mm
- Length l: 135 mm
- Minimum hole depth for through-fastening h: 145 mm
- Minimum anchorage depth hnom (hv): 70 mm
In solid materials, uniform expansion forces are created, while in perforated materials the teeth press against the walls and expand into the voids. In materials with vertical holes, drilling with rotation only, without impact, is required. For wooden constructions, screws with a flat countersunk head are recommended, while for metal constructions, a plug with a hex-head screw and integrated washer is recommended.
