The Qidi Filament Management System Plus 4 feeds compatible 3D printers from four independent channels. It supports multicolour printing, automatic switching to a backup spool, and drying and printing at the same time, with a maximum drying temperature of 65 °C. It monitors temperature, humidity and filament feed, detecting runouts, tangles and jams.
Dual hardened steel gearboxes and four independent stepper motors support a range of filaments, including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PVA, BVOH, PP, POM, HIPS and TPU 64D, as well as selected carbon- or glass-fibre-reinforced composite filaments. NFC recognition of compatible QIDI filaments enables their settings to be applied automatically. The system can be expanded to up to four units using compatible accessories.
