The F. Bosch orthopedic bandage is used as a protective layer between the skin and a plaster cast or synthetic splint. Its fibres allow air to circulate, while the material unwinds smoothly and can be torn by hand.
It can be used as protective padding under compression or elastic bandages, as well as for additional cushioning over bony prominences such as the ankles, elbows and wrists.
