Microfiber is a very fine artificially created fiber, usually made from polyester or polyamide. It is 2 times finer than silk fiber, 3 times finer than cotton fiber, 8 times finer than wool, and 100 times finer than human hair. Products made from microfiber are incredibly soft and lightweight, with a beautiful drape. Microfibers are smaller than 1.0 denier.

The duvet is very light like down, soft, and hugs the body. During the summer months it offers coolness and comfort, while in winter it acts as a very good insulator.
