Sika acrylic emulsion is an elastic waterproofing coating for roofs, based on styrene-acrylic copolymers in an aqueous emulsion. Once cured, it forms a flexible, durable waterproofing membrane using Duralastic technology. It can be applied to porous ceramic tiles, fibre-reinforced mortars, sheet metal, aluminium, wood, roof tiles, bricks, mortars, concrete, and bituminous membranes with an aluminium foil or mineral chip finish.
It is also used to protect parapets and partition walls from moisture and possible water ingress, as well as on vertical walls, pipe penetrations, joints, cracks, and flue support points.
