Description
The access point WI-CPE800-KIT by Wi-Tek is useful for creating or extending a wireless network to connect multiple devices. It emits a signal at a frequency, the 5Ghz, which provides higher speed than the 2.4Ghz but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g., walls) that reduce its range. This difference and its more limited use help it to have fewer interferences from other networks. Offers up to 867Mbps in total to devices connected to it. In practice, the actual speed shared with devices is closer to 150Mbps. It is Wi-Fi 5 generation, the most widespread Wi-Fi standard, which can meet the needs of most users at present. There is also the next generation Wi-Fi 6 that offers the ability to connect many more devices to serve the increasing smart devices in a home.
