The laptop is exactly what it says it is, an honest product, perfectly fine for simple everyday use. I bought a Win11 Pro license, along with Office 24, for 25e, from a well-known site I trust completely, and without being any kind of computer expert, I installed them easily and the laptop works excellently. It is definitely NOT as fast as some people say in the comments, but it performs quite well, more than satisfactorily I would say. After all, with less than 400e, you don't expect a NASA supercomputer. The only somewhat negative thing I would say, as others also mention, is the screen brightness, which at least to my eyes is excessive, and that is why I tilt the screen slightly back to get exactly what I want. Note that it is NOT corrected much, if at all, by lowering the brightness setting. Battery that really lasts many hours for simple internet use, office, etc. I do NOT play games, so I have no opinion. I would buy another one for my student daughter, but for now she has made do with my old one (also a Lenovo). In conclusion, I am satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who wants something for normal use and not anything fancy. I would give it 5 stars, but I give it 4, not for any other reason, simply because perhaps there is something else on the market that could be better and I haven't found it. (Although I don't think so at this or a similar price). Final opinion: VFM.

I have had the laptop for 5 months now and I am completely satisfied. I got it without pre-installed software and installed Linux Fedora on it; I use it for my university (computer science). This review is mainly addressed to people who want to get their first laptop for university without spending more than €500.

For simple programs like LibreOffice/Calc, it works perfectly. For IDEs, it runs VS Code comfortably along with 15 Firefox tabs. With Jetbrains, we struggle a bit, as IntelliJ IDEA has crashed on me more than once on heavy projects, but for lighter tasks it's fine. Now, if someone wants to run game dev engines like Unity, it's not going to happen. BUT, I have tried Godot and it runs very well on lighter projects!

A few words about the hardware. The keyboard is obviously nothing premium, but personally I find it very pleasant to use. The screen is the only thing that leaves me dissatisfied, due to the TN panel – generally, when you are in bright environments you will need brightness >60%. As for battery life, at least 3.5-4 hours off the charger (again, on Linux Fedora).

Perhaps the best laptop for its price right now on the market. I am an IT professional and generally prefer desktop computers; I have quite powerful machines both at home and at the office, so I never really needed to acquire a powerful laptop. I got this machine as a 2nd/complementary one. So I only needed the absolute essentials. That is, 16GB RAM (today you don't buy a machine with less, it's the absolute minimum), at least a 512GB SSD, and at least 4 processor cores. I didn't expect much when I received it, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I installed Windows 11 Pro (costing just about 8 euros for a license) and the machine is quite fast for all basic office tasks. It doesn't seem to lag at all. Obviously, you won't be doing anything extravagant on this, but if you just want to work with Office, maybe some other office applications, surf the internet, watch videos, play light games, etc., you will do so without any problems.

In the games I tried, the graphics processor doesn't have much power, BUT it's not completely terrible either; I consider it comparable to the Intel UHD 730 in desktops. Most indie games will run without issues, at most with some sacrifices in graphics. For AAA games, things are tough; obviously, it can't run the latest generation. But for example, it ran Skyrim Special Edition relatively well, with graphics at 1080p Low. So generally, AAA games from a decade ago can be played with sacrifices in graphics settings. Tip: Lower the resolution to 1366x768 when you want better performance without a dramatic cost to graphics quality. Overall, it's not a laptop you get to play games on, though.

If it's intended as someone's sole machine, they will have to accept several sacrifices. Besides the games I mentioned earlier, for heavier productivity applications, obviously more cores and RAM are needed. While the disk, although quite fast (Nvme Pcie 4.0x4), is not particularly large by today's standards, and from what I saw, although I could be wrong, it does not accept a 2nd disk and the maximum disk size is 512GB, so at most you can replace this one if it fails; if you want more space, only external with USB. Another sacrifice is the screen, which is frankly of mediocre quality. Obviously, you get what you pay for. The colors are not bad for a TN Panel, but the viewing angles are terrible; only one person can see properly and only from specific viewing angles. However, it has a quick response and has no issues with fast refresh rates, and it is also Freesync, which fits perfectly with the Radeon iGPU.

I read from some that they had issues with the speakers; I don't know, they seemed fine to me. I also liked the volume/quality it gives to headphones; it didn't differ much from the Realtek on my desktop. It has a standard 720p camera with a switch to turn it off, Wifi 6, 3 USB 3.2 ports, one of which is type C (which can also output display port 1.2). It has an HDMI 1.4 output and of course an ethernet port, while it also accepts a Kensington Nano lock. The battery lasts several hours with moderate use, and the laptop neither heats up particularly nor makes noise, unless I stress it with some demanding game. Also, the laptop is featherlight for its size, very comfortable overall.

Overall, for someone who wants a decent laptop for office work, at a very affordable price, it is perhaps the best choice. To see serious improvement, you need to significantly increase your budget.

For those who want a lightweight 15.6" Laptop with a 1920x1080 60Hz screen that is fast and makes browsing the Internet, Office tools, video calls for meetings, and generally office work and entertainment browsing a pleasant experience, this Laptop is the best value for money.

Truly fast, it boots Windows in less than 10 seconds. It is not recommended for heavy use, but for the tasks I mentioned, it will serve you well. Its design is also easy and comfortable, so you can place it wherever you want since it is very lightweight at just 1.65KG.

It is very important that if you buy it like I did without software because I wanted to install Windows 10, you connect it with Ethernet before starting the Windows installation so that updates and drivers for WiFi and Bluetooth are installed during the setup.

Otherwise, you can download them from the Lenovo website onto a USB stick and then transfer them to the Laptop and install them so that you have functional WiFi if you don't want to deal with Ethernet.

The packaging is very careful and protected. Its camera has a switch/cover to cover it whenever you want.

Although Windows Update installs drivers, it is good to download the AMD Chipset Drivers, graphics card, as well as the camera and audio drivers from Lenovo so that all devices are correctly managed in the device manager without exclamation marks indicating driver loss.

I use Windows 10 Pro. So when you notice in the computer information that it has 16GB RAM but only 13.8GB is in use, don't worry, this happens because the integrated graphics card takes 2GB RAM from the regular RAM.

For light gaming, you will be fine, but for heavy gaming, it is not recommended so you don't strain it since you won't achieve FPS that will make the game run smoothly. Perhaps only at the lowest graphics settings.

Even though it states that the disk is SSD, in the BIOS it is mentioned that it is not just an SSD but an NVMe SSD, which is even faster, and in my case, it is Samsung.

Its screen supports AMD Free Sync based on what was shown to me in the AMD Adrenalin software. It also has options for maximum performance, but personally, I have it set to Intelligent Cooling, which is also the default in the BIOS.

In short, for basic office use, it is excellent and comes with a 3-year official warranty.
