The Faber-Castell Goldfaber Creative Marker has a 1.5 mm round nib for fine lines and drawing. Its water-based ink is odourless and smudge-resistant, and does not bleed through paper. It can be used on paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, porcelain and metal, with no need to shake or activate it before use.

On suitable surfaces, the colour becomes waterproof after being set in an oven at 160 °C.
