Main Functions
The SVP-717 combines protection and monitoring functions for electrical installations in a single device. It continuously monitors voltage, current, frequency, power, and energy consumption. If the voltage exceeds the set maximum limit, or drops below the minimum limit, or the current exceeds the programmed value, the switch cuts off the load supply. After the parameters return to normal levels, power can be restored automatically after the set delay.
Display
The digital display allows synchronized viewing of the main parameters:
- V – mains voltage
- A – current consumption
- Hz – mains frequency
- W / kW – instantaneous power
- kWh – accumulated electrical energy
Settings are made using the SET button and the ▲ / ▼ buttons. The Power button enables or disables the output.
Electrical Connection
According to the device markings:
- Input – upper side:
- Terminal 1 – N: neutral input
- Terminal 3 – L: phase input
- Output – lower side:
- Terminal 2 – N: neutral output
- Terminal 4 – L: phase output
Installation and Safety
The device is installed in the electrical panel on a DIN rail. Installation and wiring must be carried out with the power turned off and by authorized personnel, following the L/N and Input/Output markings. The SVP-717 provides electronic protection against overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent, but does not replace circuit breakers for short-circuit protection or residual current devices (RCD/RCBO) when required in the installation.
