Functions

The SINOTIMER SVP-717 is a 5-in-1 device designed for the protection and monitoring of a single-phase installation. The device provides protection against overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent, as well as monitoring of electrical parameters and energy consumption measurement. When one of the monitored parameters exceeds the programmed limits, the device disconnects the load. After the network returns within acceptable limits, power is restored after the set reconnection time.

Configurable parameters

The digital display allows monitoring of the following:

  • V – voltage
  • A – current
  • Hz – frequency
  • W / kW – instantaneous power
  • kWh – cumulative electrical energy

Configuration is done via the SET button and the ▲ / ▼ keys. The Power button allows manual ON/OFF control of the output.

Electrical connection

  • Input – upper side:
  • 1 – N: neutral input
  • 3 – L: phase input
  • Output – lower side:
  • 2 – N: neutral output
  • 4 – L: phase output

Installation and safety

The SVP-717 is installed in the electrical panel on a DIN rail. Installation must be carried out with the power supply turned off and by authorized personnel, strictly observing the Input/Output interfaces and the L/N polarity. The device does not replace automatic short-circuit protection or RCD/RCBO protection. These protections must be used separately, according to the configuration of the electrical installation.
