The Laica water filter pitcher is designed for filtering drinking water. This pitcher reduces: limescale, chlorine, lead, zinc, copper and other heavy metals, certain pesticides and certain herbicides that may be present in tap water. Thus, the water consumed is much healthier.

Why filter water?
Although tap water is drinkable, it may contain unwanted substances such as limescale deposits and chlorine, which affect the smell, taste and appearance of the water. How is the water filtered?
Bi-Flux cartridges are the result of the most advanced technology developed by Laica. They filter water in 5 stages:
- Pre-filtration – removes large impurity particles;
- Ion exchange resins – remove unwanted substances such as heavy metals (zinc, iron, mercury, copper, lead);
- Activated carbon filter – reduces chlorine and certain pesticides using activated carbon, improving the smell and taste of the water;
- Ultra-fine filter – a very fine matrix retains even the smallest particles;
- Post-filter.
Bi-Flux filter cartridges are individually sterilized to maintain the highest hygiene standards. The Laica pitcher and Bi-Flux cartridge are made from certified non-toxic materials. Bi-Flux filtration guarantees effective bacteriostatic protection thanks to silver.
