The Ewimar PTF-61-EXT/PoE surge protector protects Gigabit Ethernet networks via a single LAN port. It is used in installations near LAN terminals, such as computers, IPC cameras, PLC controllers and IoT devices, as well as with IP cameras, LAN switches, routers and Wi-Fi access points. Its three-stage protection is based on GDT, MOSFET and TVS components.

It has shielded RJ-45 sockets on both the protected and unprotected sides and can be mounted on a surface or wall. Proper grounding via a PE line is required for operation.
