The cutting disc is made of thermally treated carbon steel 50# (metal disc) and tungsten carbide YG8 (cutting edge), with a cutting edge hardness of 85 HRc (+/-2st). The GS geometry has an attack angle of 10st. The metal disc, of appropriate thickness and cut with laser technology, ensures rigidity and limits stresses even in high-load and high-temperature tasks.

The special sintered HM carbide allows for repeated sharpening. The cutting edge geometry and the shape of the GS10 insert (alternately bevelled) are suitable for cross-cutting wood. A higher number of teeth on the same diameter provides smooth cutting surfaces, especially in dry wood. For longitudinal cutting, discs with fewer teeth are recommended for higher cutting speed.

It is intended for industrial applications with all kinds of electric tools and is suitable for soft and hardwood, other wood-based materials, fiberboards, and gypsum boards. Caution: For better cutting quality and longer durability, during the cutting process the edge is recommended to protrude by w/3 of its height above the material thickness. It is not intended for cutting concrete, bricks, terracotta and ceramics, plexiglass and other plastics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, or wood-based materials combined with other materials.
