POLRUST acrylic anti-corrosion primer, with a capacity of 0.7L. It is applied to steel and cast iron surfaces, even on surfaces that have not been completely cleaned of corrosion products. It provides good penetration into the substrate through the porous structure of rust.
It creates a physical and chemical bond with the rust and the substrate, providing a suitable base for topcoats after drying. It contains:
- Adhesion promoters
- Silicone-free defoamers
- Additives for improved technical and functional properties
Suitable for rusty grates, railings, fences, pipes, radiators, sheet metal, and perforated load-bearing structures. It can be applied to clean Sa 2 1/2 surfaces or surfaces with insufficient rust removal St 3 or Sa 1, according to PN ISO 8501-12001.
Use as a temporary protective coating or as a standard anti-corrosion primer. For top coats, the manufacturer recommends EKOCYNKAL* and CYNKAL. Coating systems with chlorinated rubber, polyvinyl, acrylic, and chemically cured paints offer the highest corrosion resistance.
