Its filling is made from polyester batting, a lightweight and soft synthetic material that allows the body to breathe during the night while keeping it warm. The difference between a quilted blanket and traditional quilts is that it combines the properties of a quilt and a blanket together, offering a softer and warmer feeling during sleep.
It has a weight of 740 grams per square meter. The GSM indicates the amount of material used for the filling of the quilt. The higher the GSM, the denser the filling of the quilt. Therefore, a quilt with a higher GSM will have more weight and provide more warmth.
For its best care, it is recommended to wash at low or moderate temperatures after first making sure there are no holes in its seams, light spinning, and using a dryer at moderate temperatures or drying in an outdoor shaded area. The use of chlorine or bleach is not recommended.
