The Vallejo Ammo Detail Sponge / Pad AMIG8577 features an ergonomic handle and a drop shape with a pointed tip, offering access to hard-to-reach areas. It is used for applying pigments and streaking effects on matte and glossy surfaces, as well as for mixing pigments with enamel thinners. It can also be used for blending and cleaning washes: after applying the wash, wait 15–20 minutes and gently wipe off the excess. It is suitable for working on satin or glossy surfaces without damaging the varnish or the model.
