The tulip 'Ice Cream' (Double Late Tulip) is one of the most impressive and unique special tulip varieties. The indication 11/12 specifies the circumference of the bulb in centimeters, which is the ideal size for rich flowering, suitable for both pots and the garden.

The outer petals have a vivid, deep fuchsia/pink color, while in the center a dense, fluffy, double head of pure white petals emerges, creating the impression of a ball of vanilla ice cream. It is a compact and sturdy variety reaching a height of 30 to 40 centimeters, with short and strong stems that protect it from bending.

It belongs to the late double tulips and blooms towards the end of spring (April to May). It is suitable for decoration in pots, flowerbeds, as well as a top cut flower for vases. It is planted in autumn (from September to December), in sunny locations with full sunlight.

• Requires excellently drained, light soil.
• Plant the bulb about 10 centimeters deep with the pointed side facing upwards.
• Leave a distance of 5-10 centimeters between the bulbs.

This variety can be combined with other tulips of the same category such as ice cream banana / ice cream strawberry in groups of 5-10 pieces to create a rich and impressive result.
