The HF6001 system from FoFo Medical consists of a honeycomb-type mattress and an alternating pressure pump that adjusts the pressure according to the patient’s weight. The system is designed for patients weighing up to 130 kg.

A pressure ulcer is a skin injury that occurs as a result of keeping the body in a static position (without movement) for an extended period. It appears due to continuous pressure on the skin, which reduces blood flow to the affected area, leading to tissue necrosis. Pressure ulcers are associated with immobility in a wheelchair or bed, even for a short period of time.

The system alternates the contact points with the skin, providing a gentle massage that allows better blood circulation and good tissue oxygenation. The use and maintenance of the system are easy and it is very quiet.
